Renovated 2014, 3000 SF
Portland Modern Home Tour 2014, Gray Magazine 2014
Renovation of 1955 mid-century house located in the North Shore neighborhood of Lake Oswego. The home, originally designed by architect Warren Webber, had been modified and added onto over the years, greatly diminishing its original design and function. The Lake House was carefully renovated to restore the original design aesthetic, while modernizing the layout to fit the users' requirements. Oversized Weiland sliding doors open onto the covered porch, improving the connection to the outdoor living spaces. The interior includes built-in sofas, a wood screened wall between the stair and the living room, and heated concrete floors. The primary finishes are cedar, white oak, concrete, and brick.
